Date and tamarind cake
I wish Lorna would stop reading Dan Leppards column un the gaurdian and making delicious cakes.
This is amazing moist, sweet, rich syrupy with sourness from the tamarind and a cardomom seed flavoured drizzle like topping.
It’s scandalously delicious and I am home alone with it tomorrow.
Going to have to slice it and whack it in the freezer as an occasional after hard training treat.
