It’s the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race today, the atheletes will have been preparing for months to compete in this specific race and will be in the best condition possible. Recently we had a question from a recreational rower that was having difficulty in juggling the balance between eating enough carbs to fuel rowing sessions and being able to lose and maintain weight. When you are rowing you burn through a lot of energy however you need to get the balance right.
